1. Who We Are

Stagefront is a browser-native live music performance platform. We operate stagefront.show and all associated subdomains and services. References to "we," "us," or "Stagefront" in this policy mean the Stagefront platform and its operators. For privacy-related questions, contact us at hello@stagefront.show.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

• Artist applications

  Name, email address, genre, bio, social links, and any other information you include in your artist application.

• Account creation (artists & fans)

  Email address used to create your account via magic-link login.

• Artist profile

  Artist name, bio, genre tags, social media links, and profile photo.

• Show data

  Show titles, descriptions, dates, capacity settings, and any content associated with your shows.

• Uploaded content

  Music files, video files, images, 3D GLB assets (avatars and props), and AI NPC prompt content you create.

• RSVP data (fans)

  Email address and the shows you RSVP to.

• Contact submissions

  Any messages or support requests you send through our Help Center or contact forms.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data

  Pages visited, features used, actions taken in the dashboard (e.g. shows created, playlists built), and session duration.

• Device and browser data

  Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and general device type. This helps us optimize platform performance.

• IP address

  Used for security monitoring, abuse prevention, and general geographic analytics (country/region level only).

• Authentication logs

  Magic link request timestamps and login events, retained for security purposes.

Information from third-party services

When you use AI generation tools (3D Prop Studio), input data is transmitted to Replicate's API for processing. When you set up payment processing (Revenue tab), you interact directly with Stripe. We receive confirmation of successful payments but do not store card numbers or full payment details. See Section 5 for more on third-party services.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate the Stagefront platform and deliver its features — venue provisioning, show scheduling, playlist management, AI tools, and dashboard access.

• To authenticate you via magic-link login and maintain your session.

• To send show confirmation emails and reminder notifications (24h and 1h before shows you RSVP to).

• To notify you when your artist application is approved.

• To provide early access announcements, feature updates, and platform news to subscribers. You can unsubscribe at any time.

• To monitor for abuse, security threats, and violations of our Terms of Service.

• To generate aggregate, anonymized analytics about platform usage (e.g. total shows created, genre distribution) — these are never linked to individual users.

• To improve the platform, fix bugs, and develop new features.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

• With other users (artists → fans)

  Artist profiles and show listings are public — including artist name, bio, genre, and upcoming shows. Fan identities are not publicly visible.

• Service providers

  We use third-party infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email delivery) who process data on our behalf under appropriate data processing agreements. They do not use your data for their own purposes.

• AI generation APIs

  When you use the 3D Prop Studio, your image uploads or text prompts are sent to Replicate's API for processing. Review Replicate's privacy policy for their data handling practices.

• Legal requirements

  We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights and safety of Stagefront, its users, or the public.

• Business transfers

  If Stagefront is acquired or merged with another entity, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify users before any such transfer takes effect.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

Stagefront uses minimal cookies and browser local storage, limited to:

• Authentication tokens to keep you logged in during a session. These are cleared when you log out or the token expires.

• Session identifiers for security and fraud prevention.

• Preference settings (e.g. dashboard tab state) stored locally in your browser.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site behavioral tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect authentication functionality.

7. Data Retention

• Account data (email, profile) is retained for as long as your account is active.

• Show data and RSVPs are retained indefinitely to support show history and analytics.

• Uploaded assets (music files, 3D props, avatars) are retained until you delete them or close your account.

• Authentication logs are retained for 90 days.

• If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.

• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

• Deletion — request that we delete your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).

• Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format.

• Objection — object to certain types of data processing (e.g. marketing emails).

• Withdrawal of consent — unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in our emails.

9. Children's Privacy

Stagefront is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately and we will take steps to remove it.

10. Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), authenticated database access, and row-level security on stored data. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of Stagefront after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
