Yes — for both artists and fans during the current phase. Artists perform free, fans attend free. We'll introduce optional monetization tools later, but the platform itself stays free to use.

No. Everything runs in your browser. The Portals venues use WebGL — as long as you have a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox), you're good. No plugins, no downloads.

At minimum: a computer with a modern browser, a stable internet connection, and whatever you use to make music. The screenshare in Portals captures any tab or window — so if you stream via OBS, a DAW, or just play live, it all works the same way.

From your artist dashboard → Venue tab → click the venue link. Or go directly to the show page on Stagefront and click 'Enter Venue'. For fans, the same button appears on the show page when the artist goes live.

RSVP closes once capacity is reached. If you didn't get a spot, keep an eye on the artist's profile — they may schedule another show. Following the artist ensures you see new shows as soon as they're posted.

Yes — go to your Account page, find the show under Upcoming, and cancel your RSVP. This frees up your spot for another fan.

Check your spam or junk folder first — they sometimes land there. If it's not there, request a new link from the login page. Magic links expire after 10 minutes.

Portals rooms are designed for desktop browsers. Mobile performance is limited — we recommend performing from a laptop or desktop for the best experience. Fans can join on mobile, though desktop gives a better view of the venue.

Every show has a public URL on Stagefront (e.g. /shows/view/your-show-id). Share that link directly — anyone who clicks it can see the show details and RSVP. You can also link to your Stagefront artist page.

When you RSVP to a show, we log your email against that show. Our system automatically sends a reminder 24 hours before the show time and another 1 hour before. No action needed on your part.

Go to the 3D Prop Studio tab in your dashboard. Upload an image or type a text prompt describing the prop you want, then click Generate. The AI (Hunyuan3D-3.1) creates a 3D GLB file with PBR materials — typically up to 200K polygons. Generation takes 2–5 minutes. Once complete, your GLB URL appears in your prop library. Copy the URL and use it in your Portals room via the GLB object type. Each generation costs approximately $0.12–0.20 in compute credits.

In the Avatar Studio tab, drop your GLB file into the upload zone. The studio checks it against Portals specifications: triangle count (≤15K), file size (1–3MB), texture resolution (512px), T-pose, and height (≤1.6m). If it passes, your avatar is hosted and you get a permanent URL. If it fails, the validation report shows exactly what needs fixing. Once you have the URL, use the Room URL Builder in the same tab to generate a Portals link with your avatar pre-loaded.

The AI Presence tab lets you create AI-powered NPC characters for your Portals venue. A Digital Twin is an NPC that represents you — it knows your bio, your music, your projects, and your personality. Fans can talk to it in your venue 24/7, even when you're not performing. To set it up: go to the AI Presence tab, select Digital Twin, fill in your bio, influences, current projects, and personality traits, then click Generate Prompt. You get a complete GPT system prompt ready to paste into Portals when you add an AI NPC to your room. The prompts are saved to your library so you can update them anytime.

In the Music & Playlists tab, create a playlist and add tracks (upload files or paste URLs for audio or video). Each playlist has playback settings: shuffle, loop, or sequential. To schedule it, open the Schedule section and add time slots — pick the days of the week, start time, end time, and your timezone. During those windows, your playlist is active in your venue. A Now Playing indicator is shown to fans in the room. You can have multiple playlists with non-overlapping schedules.
